I earned my MS degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine from Iowa State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Medicine from Nanjing Agricultural University. My prior research focused on developing PCR-based diagnostic methods for swine enteric coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, I serve as a Lab Specialist in Dr. Xie’s lab, where I assist with assay development and optimization in immunological imaging. This role has introduced me to the new field, and I have gained significant experience in protein expression and purification, as well as cell work. My previous research experience has provided me with a solid foundation in animal studies, which I believe will be beneficial for future animal trials in our lab.

I am eager to expand my knowledge by contributing to the development of imaging tools that visualize and explore the mechanisms and immunological responses in cancers.
